Our team will attend to your every need, offering both sit-down and stand-up cocktail-style options for small and large groups. Plus, with no need to worry about extra costs or the hassle of bringing in equipment, we've got you covered with all the audio-visual equipment you need, including microphones, specialised lighting, multiple TV screens for presentations or logos and various music options.

Cocktail Bar

An elegant, private cocktail bar with intimate booths sets the tone for an exclusive function experience. This sophisticated venue features large screens ideal for visual presentations or slide shows, a cordless microphone, customisable lighting, and a fully equipped music system.

It is wheelchair accessible and available for half or full rooms*.

Alfresco

Drink, dine and socialise in The Cotton Club's air-conditioned outdoor oasis, which is nestled among shady fig trees and overlooks the lovely City Place. This area, located on the street level, has booth tables for relaxing and a retractable ceiling to keep guests comfortable in any weather. Multiple screens also adjourn the area to meet your visual requirements. This area is accessible by wheelchair.

The Balcony

Take your event outside and party under the stars. The Balcony has a great after-dark atmosphere perfect for casual events and mingling for groups of up to 100, including an indoor section and close access to the dance floor. Ceiling fans keep you cool and your own private bar serves drinks quickly. The Balcony, located on the top floor, offers views of City Place and its magnificent fig trees, which light up in a spectacular display at night. This area can be reserved as a smoking area.

The Woolshed

Why not make Cairns' original party venue your own private function space? With three areas in one, your guests can move freely between the inside and outside. Music will be pumping on the dance floor thanks to the Woolshed's cleverly designed sound system, while those relaxing in the seating areas can still converse. Offering a variety of entertainment options, including a fully equipped nightlife music system and a state-of-the-art live music rig that can accommodate solo musicians to full-sized live bands.
